Giovanni Spinicchia nasce nel 1937 a Firenze, ove compie studi inferiori, superiori e Magistero d’Arte avendo per maestri Grazzini, Martinelli, Galigiani e Parronchi. Studia all’Accademia di Belle Arti. Collabora come disegnatore con Michelucci e Savioli. Per dodici anni insegna Figura ed Ornato al Liceo artistico di Firenze.
Espone in Italia, Francia, Spagna, Svizzera, Belgio, Jugoslavia, Sud Africa, Corea e molte volte negli Stati Uniti: a New York e Los Angeles.
Il volume contiene, oltre al testo critico di Giuliano Serafini, un centinaio di riproduzioni di opere dell’artista.

Giovanni Spinicchia was born in 1937 in Florence, where he studied at the Master School of Arts with teachers such as Grazzini, Martinelli, Galigiani and Parronchi. He then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. As a designer, he worked with Michelucci and Savioli. For twelve years he taught at the artistic high school of Florence.
He exhibited in Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Yugoslavia, South Africa, Korea and many times in the United States (New York and Los Angeles).
The volume contains, in addition to the critical text by Giuliano Serafini, a hundred reproductions of works by the artist. A biographical profile and a bibliography complete the book.
