Filippo Lotti

Filippo Lotti was born in Pontedera (Pisa) in 1972 and he lives in San Miniato. He’s journalist-publicist, from 1996 to 2005 he has been animator of Galleria Immaginarte in Pontedera and until 2006, in the same town, he has been artistic director of FuoriLuogo exhibition space. Cultural interface for the cultural association La Ruga di Ponte in Egola (Pisa), he works in the contemporary art field by organizing and taking care of exhibitions and publications about art and culture. He collaborates with private galleries and public space in addition to cultural magazine; moreover, he writes critical essays on art and cultural websites. In 2008 he has been rewarded by Metropoli Day newspaper as young cultural operator. From 2009 to 2010 he has been artistic director of LariArte by organizing exhibitions and events at Castello dei Vicari of Lari. He collaborates with the journalist Fabrizio Borghini and his section “Incontri con l’arte” on Toscana TV. He’s director of FuoriLuogo, an agency of services for the art and has curated more than 100 exhibitions.
