Anna Agostini

Anna Agostini was born and still lives in Pistoia. In 1993 she obtained her degree in Modern Literature at the university of Florence with a thesis in modern history entitled Ignazio Fabroni: un nobile pistoiese sulle galere di Santo Stefano. She has been working for years as an associate at the Biblioteca Fabroniana di Pistoia, where she has done an inventory of the editions of the 16th century and where she is in charge of the educational activities. She contributed to the documentation about the pope Clement IX -born Giulio Rospigliosi- analyzing the documents preserved at the Archivio Capitolare, the Biblioteca Fabroniana and the Archivio di Stato of Pistoia. She is the author of many texts that were published in various journals and volumes, such as Pistoia sul mare. I Cavalieri di Santo Stefano e Pistoia (Settegiorni 2008), La Fabroniana di Pistoia.
