"A new journey through time, space and color, as always nel segno of the highest quality: The paintings we present to you, from different time periods and regions of Italy, are a testimony to our continuous professional research. Here beauty is closely bonded to elegance and refinement, intended to satisfy those with a passion for art." (Emanuele and Leonardo Piacenti).
This catalog has been compiled by Emanuele and Leonardo Piacenti, Florentine antique dealers specialising in European painting and sculpture from the 1300s to the 1800s, specifically those works done in Tuscan style. Here you will find thirteen works by great Italian artists from 15th to the 17th centuries, each richly illustrated in both black and white and in color. The paintings are accompained by their technical placards, describing the current state of the painting, its story and materials, a biography of the artist and notes of analysis on the meaning of the work.
