Guides dedicated to museums of the area of Florence. Coordinated by Antonio Paolucci, the book series takes advantage of the contributions of major researchers in the field of history of art, as well as of unpublished iconography. Each guide is divided into three sections. The first section describes the museum and its history: the reader is guided through the rooms of the museum, where he will see the permanent collections, while a picture table describes the most important works of art in details. The second section includes itineraries of the area of Florence, with the description of craftsmanship, traditions and local products. The third section includes a glossary describing the terms used through the volume, aimed at facilitating the reading and giving further information. The guides include Italian and English texts, which allow non-Italian speakers to get to know the artistic treasures of the area of Florence.
