Oliva Rucellai

After a degree in Modern Literature at the University of Pavia, Oliva Rucellai (Milan, 1969) specialized in History of Italian Ceramics, in Milan, with two well-known scholars: Raffaella Ausenda e Luca Melegati. She continued her studies in art history in Florence, where she received her bachelor’s degree with a thesis on Ginori majolica in the nineteenth century, under the supervision of Carmen Ravanelli Guidotti. She completed her studies in England, with experiences at the auction house Christie’s of London, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Before becoming the curator of the Museum Richard-Ginori, in 2002, she worked with the “Domenico Michelacci” Museum of Straw and Straw Braiding in Signa and with Artificio-Skira, a company specialized in art exhibition organization.
