Clementina Marsico

Clementina Marsico è assegnista di ricerca presso l’Università di Firenze. Dopo aver concluso il percorso dottorale in Civiltà dell’Umanesimo e del Rinascimento a Firenze in co-diplomazione con l’Università Paris IV-Sorbonne, ha lavorato in qualità di borsista presso il Warburg Institute di Londra (nel 2013) e di ricercatrice presso il Ludwig Boltzmann Institut für Neulateinische Studien di Innsbruck (dal 2014 al 2019).

Clementina Marsico holds a PhD in Civiltà dell’Umanesimo e del Rinascimento(University of Florence and Paris-Sorbonne). She was research fellow in the Department of Italianistica at the University of Florence and then fellow at the Warburg Institute of London. She is member of the Italian Edizione Nazionale delle opere di Lorenzo Valla and she currently collaborates with the team working on the critical edition of his Elegantie lingue latine. In addition to several papers on Lorenzo Valla, she has also written articles on Humanism and the reuse of the Classics during the Renaissance. Her research interests include Medieval and Renaissance linguistics, the history of education, as well as humanist preaching.
At the Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies, she is working in the Education Line.
