Chantal Mouffe

È Professore di Teoria Politica al Centro Studi di Democrazia all’Università di Westminster a Londra. Ha insegnato e fatto ricerca in diverse università in Europa, Nord America e Sud America ed è un socio corrispondente del Collège International de Philosophie a Parigi. È curatore di Gramsci and Marxist Theory (Routledge and Kegan Paul, Londra, 1979), Dimensions of Radical Democracy. Pluralism, Citizenship, Community (Verso, Londra, 1992), Deconstruction and Pragmatism (Routledge, 1996) e The Challenge of Carl Schmitt (Verso, Londra, 1999); co-autore con Ernesto Laclau di Hegemony and Socialist Strategy. Towards a Radical Democratic Politics (Verso, Londra, 1985) ed autore di The Return of the Political (Verso, Londra, 1993), The Democratic Paradox (Verso, Londra, 2000) e On the Political (Routledge, Londra, 2005).

She is Professor of Political Theory at the Centre for the Study of Democracy at the University of Westminster in London.
