After a long time, a new tourist guide of Fiesole is available which spans many different themes related to the town’s attractions. This work by Pier Francesco Listri seeks to provide those who climb Fiesole’s Hill, with the numerous opportunities to discover this extraordinary heritage made of: a series of museums, a wide archaeological area, historic villas, the ancient Fiesole and the 18th-century one rich in collections, cultural foundations, as well as the presentday landscape, fruit of a late-19th-century composition. In short, a multitude of information that, over the past two centuries, the historic travellers who visited and wrote about Fiesole would have appreciated.
